As a library member you can access thousands of downloadable Audiobooks and eBooks free of charge through Borrowbox. Simply download the app to your phone or tablet, or visit Borrowbox (external website) and log in using your library card and PIN.
Libby
Hundreds of popular magazines are now available to download and read on any device 24/7. Log on with your library card and read digital magazines on Libby, the award-winning reading app from OverDrive. Top titles include BBC Gardeners World, Good Housekeeping, New Scientist, Autocar and many more.

PressReader
Free access to newspapers and magazines, from 120 countries around the world, 24/7. The publications are available in full text, on the day of publication and look just like the printed edition. They can be viewed online through a web browser, or via the Press Reader app on a smart phone or tablet.
- Install the PressReader iOS or Android app on your smartphone or visit www.pressreader.com (external website)
- Sign-in, select ‘Libraries and Groups’ and search for Denbighshire Libraries
- Enter your library card number
- Set up your account by entering your email address and password
Find My Past
You can access Find My Past (external website) free at your local library. This includes the 1921 census. Find My Past is the perfect place to grow your family tree and unlock stories that define your past, shape your present and inspire your future. Please note that we can only offer a limited number of sessions at any one time.
Ancestry
You can use Ancestry (external website) free at your local library. It allows you to quickly and easily build your family tree and research your family history.
Theory Test Pro
Theory Test Pro is a highly realistic online simulation of the UK's driving theory test. It contains the official practice test question bank, hazard perception video clips and an online version of the Highway Code.You can use Theory Test Pro free of charge as a library member.

Access To Research
Access to Research (external website) gives free, walk-in access at your local library to over 15 million academic articles. Students and independent researchers can now access many of the world’s best academic papers from leading publishers who have made their journal content available for free.
Help to get online
Our staff are available to help you access the digital world through your local library. We can help you with accessing council and other services online so that making enquiries and payments, or finding information is more simple. If you are looking for a more formal learning opportunity, we offer a number of basic computer skills courses hosted by Coleg Llandrillo.
Tablet and Chromebook loan service
If you want to improve your digital skills you can now borrow a tablet or chromebook from your local library. You can borrow a device for 6 weeks and use it to access online courses, browse the internet, type up a CV, or try out our range of eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines and newspapers. Contact your local library for more information.
Computer and internet access
As a Denbighshire library member, you have free access to a computer and the internet including Wi-Fi. Access is free of charge and only requires your library card number and PIN.
If you are under the age of 11, you will need to be accompanied by an adult. If you are aged between 11 and 14 you will need permission from a parent or carer. The staff at the library will be able to give you a form for your parent or carer to sign.
You can book a computer up to one week in advance - just call your local library to do so.
We have private Solo Digital Spaces available to book if you need to join an online meeting or event. Please phone your local library to make an appointment.
Cloud printing and computer booking
Library members can now use a cloud printing service and reserve a library computer online.
The Cloud Printing Service enables you to send documents to print from your phone, tablet or laptop without needing to be in the library. The documents will then be available for you to collect from any of our libraries, for up to 24 hours. Your documents will be securely processed and will not be printed until you visit the library and request them to be released.
- A4 costs 20p per page for black and white, 60p for colour.
- A3 costs 40p for black and white, £1.20 for colour.

You can access a wide range of software on library computers, including:

Printing, scanning and photocopying
You can print, scan and photocopy at every library. There is a small charge for the prints and copies you make.
