Our Play Ranger team are highly skilled and experienced, and committed to providing a safe play environment for all children and young people to develop physical, mental, social and emotional health and wellbeing.
Inclusive Play Coordinator
The Inclusive Play Coordinator organises play activities for all children to take place in council buildings, parks, schools and open spaces within Denbighshire.
The Inclusive Play Coordinator also helps run the play activities.
Jake has a degree in Sport Development and Enterprise and has worked in Playwork since 2013.
He is passionate about providing play opportunities for all children.
Play Rangers run and promote play activities for all children whatever their abilities.
Ceri has a national diploma and degree in dance and performing arts, as well as an NVQ level 3 in childcare. She is working towards an NVQ level 3 in Playwork.
Ceri has worked with children as a dance teacher and also through a childcare role.
Ceri Loves working with children and nurturing their unique talents and skills.
Play Ranger Assistants
Play Ranger Assistants help run and promote play activities for all children whatever their abilities.
Davi has worked with children as a teaching assistant and has extensive experience in one to one learning support as well as holiday provision support.
He is highly motivated with a real enthusiasm for his job and the children he works with.
Olly completed a scholarship with Chester City FC which included a level 2 and 3 in sports and physical activity.
He has experience in coaching children’s football which he does voluntarily in local communities.
He has a real passion for football and passing on the skills he has learnt.
Ryan has worked with children as a childcare assistant and teaching assistant.
He has a level 3 Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of School Sport, and is currently studying Childhood Studies.
Ryan is a positive person and always encourages children to get involved in play activities.
