What do I do with asbestos?
Please visit the Health and Safety Executive website (external website) before you attempt to handle or remove asbestos.
We can accept household asbestos waste e.g. fire blankets, old ironing boards etc. at Rhyl, Marsh Road Recycling and Waste Park but large amounts will not be taken.
We accept up to three bags or packages of bonded asbestos sheets from Denbighshire householders per month, but items must be double wrapped or double bagged with heavy duty polythene (HDPE).
We suggest that you speak with one of the staff upon arrival about where the asbestos skips are located. Residents will be asked to provide their name and address when disposing of asbestos waste.
