UKSPF project: Accessible Play Area Provision

Project overview

This project will deliver play areas in strategic locations across the county that are accessible to all by installing specialist equipment and making improvements to footways and street furniture in the public realm and immediate vicinity.

Project updates

March 2024

The team have had initial discussions and a site meeting with STAND to discuss and develop ideas about how an accessible play area can be delivered. Options are currently being explored and initial costs being identified with suppliers for various pieces of equipment.  

Construction is due to commence April 2024.
