Social Care Workforce Development: Information for Social Care Providers

The Social Care Workforce Development Programme provides a comprehensive training and development programme for social care providers. The programme aims to provide a significant supplement to what employers provide in terms of effective training, development and qualification provision for the social care workforce.

The training is designed around the learning needs of the social care workforce, commissioned services and independent/voluntary sector groups within Denbighshire. Unpaid carers are also eligible for our training.

Courses cover a wide range of subjects so please read the flyers thoroughly to ensure the training provided is appropriate to your role. Staff are expected to attend for the duration of the training in order to be issued with a certificate which can be used as evidence of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for registration purposes.

There is no charge to attend our courses, however a cancellation charge may apply to non-attendance if sufficient notice is not given.

Dates of our training course will be communicated via email. For further information, or to be added to our e-mail distribution list please contact us:
