Working Denbighshire: Childcare Pathway
Working Denbighshire are offering a 12-week fully funded childcare training pathway designed to help you gain confidence, get new skills, and step into paid employment from day one.
Take the first step today and you could be offered:
- paid employment while you train
- full training provided – no experience needed
- support throughout your journey
- real job opportunities on completion
Introduction sessions
We are holding two introduction sessions where you can learn what the 12-week Childcare Employment Pathway involves, meet the team, understand the support available, and explore whether the paid placement is right for you.
Who can attend?
These free introduction sessions are for people who:
- want to explore working in childcare in a relaxed, supportive environment
- are curious about building confidence, skills, or a fresh start
- have an interest in helping children learn and grow
- are unsure what their next step is and want to learn more
You don’t need any qualifications or experience, just an open mind and a willingness to explore whether working in childcare is right for you.
When and where do introduction sessions take place?
The Childcare Pathway introduction sessions take place at the Oak Tree Centre (Rhyl) on Thursday 30 April:
- Morning session from 10am to 12 noon
- Afternoon session from 2pm to 4pm
You will only need to attend one session.

The Childcare Pathway introduction sessions are free of charge, but you will need to phone us on 01745 331438 to book a place if you would like to attend.
Spaces at each session are limited.
