Economic and Community Ambition Strategy 2013-2023

Economic development is one of our corporate priorities for the term of this council. This Economic and Community Ambition Strategy has been developed to explain how we will achieve this objective.

This strategy sets out our ambitions for Denbighshire's local economy and benefits that we expect to achieve for our residents.

We want the work that we do under this strategy to help businesses go from strength to strength, offering good quality, well paid and rewarding jobs for our residents and providing them with a means to enjoy a good quality of life in our towns and communities.

If we are successful we should expect to see:

• reductions in unemployment
• increases in household incomes
• improved birth and sustainability rates for businesses
• increased economic activity generally across the county
