10 January: New year quiz night

Young people will take part in our New Year interactive quiz.


17 January: Introduction to sewing skills

Young will have the opportunity to learn basic sewing skills with members of the Sewing club from the Hwb.


24 January: Community impact workshop

ung people will discuss and plan ways they can have a positive impact on their local communities.


31 January: Valentine craft night

Young people will take part in and enjoy Valentine craft and activities.

7 February: Chinese New Year celebrations

Young people will be challenged to use chopsticks, learn about the Chinese’s New Year and tradition surrounding the celebration.


February half-term – Pump track event and ice-skating trip

Dragon’s Den community consultation pump track event arranged by the Denbigh juniors’ group to raise awareness of the need for safe places for young people to use their bikes.
Venue to be confirmed

Young people from throughout Denbighshire Youth Service’s open access provision will be coming together for an ice-skating trip to Deeside ice skating rink.
Date to be confirmed.


21 February: Pancake challenge

Young people will be making pancakes and taking part in the ‘Flipping challenge’.


28 February: St David’s day celebrations

Young people will be celebrating the Welsh culture by trying traditional foods and learning about the myths and legends surrounding the North Wales area.

6 March: Confectionery skills

Introducing young people to the delicious world of confectionary with an opportunity to make some tasty treats.


13 March: Digital workshop

Young people can explore the interactive world of digital youth work through VR, tablets and Lego animation workshops as well as the Gaming van experience.


20 March: Easter egg hunt, quiz and crafts

A night filled with Easter fun and games for young people.

10 January: Art project introduction with Angela from StudioMade

Young people will be given the opportunity to work with local artist Angela from StudioMade to create art to be displayed in an exhibition at The Carriageway.


17 January: Rice crispy treats and board games

Young people will enjoy a night of board games and making rice crispy cakes with the youth work team.
