8 April: "Let’s be active" session

Swing-ball and sports console night to promote health and fitness.

We’re going to introduce ‘tea and a chat’ and discuss how it should work.


15 April: Quiz night and popcorn

Take part in a variety of quizzes, from general knowledge to ‘guess the theme tune’.


22 April: Face portraits – celebration of identities

Papier mache balloon portrait art. Discussing how we see ourselves and understanding the importance of being unique!


29 April: Painting papier mâché models

Finishing work on the self-portrait models.

13 May: Trip to Rhyl Youth Centre for an American-themed food night

Young people will have the opportunity to enjoy what Rhyl Youth Centre has to offer – and learn some American Diner cooking skills while there!

A chance to try an art-therapy technique and explore your creativity.

Games chosen by young people – with popcorn!


10 June: Trip down memory lane

Young people will re-create one of their favourite memories using air-drying clay.

Take part in the first tea and chat session.


17 June: Painting air-drying clay scenes

Painting and sealing young people’s clay creations.


24 June: Rhyl Youth Centre visit and Mexican food night

Young people will have the opportunity to enjoy what Rhyl Youth Centre has to offer – and taste some Mexian-style food and learn some Mexican cooking skills while there!

1 July: Building resilience over hot chocolate and biscuits

Young people will be treated to hot chocolate and biscuits and given the chance to share any concerns or worries they may have about starting a new academic year.


8 July: Informal educational session: alcohol awareness and substance misuse

Young people can take part in fun, educational activities highlighting the dangers and risks associated with alcohol and substance misuse.
