What do I do with baby items?

Baby items such as clothes, toys and equipment that are in a reusable condition can be donated to your local charity shop.

You can also give them away for free on websites such as Freegle (external website) or Freecycle (external website).

Or if you want to make some extra cash, you could try selling them on Facebook Marketplace (external website) or online.

Co-Options Social Enterprise

Co-Options Social Enterprise (external website) are a Denbighshire based charity who collect textiles, shoes and resalable children's items from the kerbside once every two weeks. They sell re-useable items through their local charity shop in Rhyl, "Kit out the Kids and Family" (external website) to raise vital funds to help deliver other work in the community, providing jobs for vulnerable adults. Items that are too worn for re-sales are prepared for the recycling markets.

To find out if the kerbside service operates in your road, or your nearest collection point, please contact Co-Options on 01745 332300 or visit the Co-Options Social Enterprise website (external website).
