Christmas through the ages at Nantclwyd y Dre
From rustic medieval celebrations to the year Christmas was banned, the grand traditions of the Victorian era to restrained wartime festivities, come and explore over 500 years of festive history under one roof here at Nantclwyd y Dre historic gardens! With each room decorated to reflect the appropriate time period, visitors are invited to discover the history of Christmas and how it would have been celebrated by the house’s former residents.
Our annual celebration of Christmas past will be taking place across the first two weekends of December:
- Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December, 10am to 4:30pm (last entry at 3:30pm)
- Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December, 10am to 4:30pm (last entry at 3:30pm)
