Paranormal investigations at Nantclwyd y Dre

Investigate centuries of history at Nantclwyd y Dre, a fascinating Grade I listed townhouse. This unique building was constructed in 1435 during the historic rebuilding of Ruthin following the Owain Glyndŵr uprising. It has since been used as a weaver’s residence, girl’s school, judge’s lodgings, and family home to many influential characters.

Today, its rooms are beautifully restored, offering an immersive journey through nearly 600 years of history. Visitors can step into changing eras, wandering from a stark medieval hall and timber-framed Jacobean chambers to elegant Georgian quarters and a bustling Victorian schoolroom. The timeline stretches right through the Edwardian age, the stylish 1920s, and the tense days of WWII, concluding in the postwar era. The house’s stories are brought to life, making for captivating experiences that truly help visitors connect with the past.

This rich history sets the perfect stage for an unforgettable investigation. For ghost hunters, the venue offers incredible potential.
