April 2024

9 April: No session this week

There will be no session this week as the team has to attend some important training.

16 April: Welcome back session

Welcoming everyone back and making a new rules board. We’ll also make sure any paperwork is up to date.

We’ll introduce our new paned a sgwrs / cup of tea and a chat feature. We’ll also discuss what outside activities young people would like to see at the centre and reveal our new garden.

23 April: Cooking on a budget

Young people will get into groups to design a meal, on a budget, that they’d like to prepare and cook. The ideas will be pitched to youth work staff and the winning concept will be made in the coming weeks. The food must contain something we can grow in the garden!

30 April: Garden activity

Young people can pick a flower seed to grow before planting it in a pot or planter using the Youth Service’s garden equipment. They will also plant potatoes and carrots or lettuce.
