Parking at Christmas and New Year
Our ‘Free After 3’ initiative encourages more people to use their local high street for shopping in the run up to Christmas and New Year. In addition, some city, town and community councils will offer free parking all day on certain dates.
From 23 November until 31 December 2026, parking at the following car parks is free after 3pm:
Corwen
Green Lane car park
Denbigh
Llangollen
Prestatyn

Parliament Street

City, town and community councils are given five free parking days to allocate as they wish, each year. Councils are not required to offer these at Christmas and some councils will have used them at other times.
