Service update: Recycling collections impacted by adverse weather
9 January 2026
Our Waste and Recycling service crews have faced recent challenges due to the impact of the adverse weather over the last few days.
We want to reassure residents that any recycling collections missed from Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week due to the impact of the snow and ice will be collected on your next due recycling collection day.
Any additional recyclable material presented on your next collection day will be removed.
We would like to thank all residents for their support and understanding towards our Waste and Recycling crews during this difficult weather period.
For more information on your Waste and Recycling collection days, please visit our bin collection dates web page.

Missed refuse collections
Please do not report a missed refuse collection until after 5pm on your collection day as our crews may still be out collecting up until this time. Find out more about missed refuse collections.

If you have placed your bin out for collection and it has not been emptied, please check to see if there is a contamination tag or sticker on your bin. If there is, we will not return to empty your bin.
