Bin collections update: Tuesday, 6 January 2026, 8:30am
Due to the continuing difficult weather conditions, we will not be able to collect from the following areas today:

- Carrog
- Clawddnewydd
- Corwen
- Cynwyd
- Gellifor
- Glyndyfrdwy
- Graigfechan
- Gwyddelwern
- Llanarmon yn Ial
- Llandegla
- Llandrillo
- Llandyrnog
- Llanelidan
- Llanbedr Dyffryn Clwyd
- Llangollen
- Llanynys
- Pwllglas
- Rhewl
- Rhyd-y-meudwy
This decision has been made to ensure the safety of our operatives and members of the public. Please leave your waste/recycling out and our crews will collect as soon as it is safe to do so.
Bin collections update: Monday, 5 January 2026, 10am
We have suspended collections in the south of the county which affect the following areas:
- Recycling: Bontuchel, Clawddnewydd, Clocaenog, Cyffylliog, Cynwyd, Brookhouse (Denbigh), Denbigh Moors, Galltegfa, Gwyddelwern, Llandrillo, Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd, Llanrhaeadr, Mynydd-llech, Nantglyn, Peniel, Pwllglas, Rhewl (Ruthin)
- Residual: Brookhouse (Denbigh), Cyffylliog, Cynwyd, Llandrillo, Llanrhaeadr, Nantglyn, Peniel, Prion, Pwllglas, Rhewl
- Green Bins: Bontuchel, Clawddnewydd, Clocaenog, Derwen, Llanfwrog, Pwllglas, Ruthin
All crews are currently operating in the northern areas of the county. For all the above areas mentioned, the crews will attempt to collect again tomorrow.
Please note that all bulky waste collections have also been suspended today.
Recycling and waste collections
On your scheduled collection day, please make sure your containers are at your collection point by 6:30am. We may collect your containers at any time on your collection day up until 5pm, so please leave your containers out until then.
Missed refuse collections
Please do not report a missed refuse collection until after 5pm on your collection day as our crews may still be out collecting up until this time. Find out more about missed refuse collections.
